Really enjoyed our stay in this bike themed hotel. In addition to the facilities I knew about, it was also lovely to find a room with games, such as chess and fuzball. There was also a vending machine in reception and complementary iced tea at the end of the afternoons, which was a nice touch. Great breakfast with good choices (and at €17 when paying directly at the hotel - though going up to €18 in the new year). Found this to be good value for Bruges. Bus was very easy to use and was actually free for 2 of the days we were there (for Bruges shopping days - 22 days during Nov / Dec). Otherwise it was €2.50 per person. (Reception can also give you a voucher for a taxi into the centre for €12). Bus goes every 20 mins. (Sometimes comes 2 mins early). Hired city bikes at €8 each for a half day (9 a.m. - 3 p.m) and cycled out to Blankenberge. Was also pleased to find it was very easy to go for a jog / run from the hotel, with a park and green areas right outside. Although you need a reservation for lunch or dinner at the hotel, you can have tapas in the bar without reservations, which is a good alternative. Parked on the street for duration of stay without any issues, though there is a free outdoor car park (with several EV chargers) as well as the covered indoor parking. Would definitely stay again if I come back to Bruges. (Just wouldn't go for the superior room next time, as although the glass walled bathrooms look nice, once the curtain is pulled, your roommate is effectively stuck in the main room area, unless you don't mind the lack of privacy! Not everyone's cup of tea!) Staff also very friendly and helpful and rooms were very clean. Would recommend!

We arrived for a 3 night stay and paid 5 euros per night to put our car in the covered garage which is situated next to the hotel. The hotel has a vibrant feel to it and check in was easy and staff were very helpful in giving us information. We travelled into Bruges by bus on both days as the bus stops directly outside the hotel and drops off in the market place in the centre of Bruges. It was so easy and convenient. Bikes are available to hire but we didnt use them. The bedroom was very comfortable with a huge opening window overlooking the countryside. Breakfast was very good. Lots of choice and we ate in the restaurant on 2 evenings as it proved to be very good value compared to prices of restaurants in Bruges. The food in the restaurant is of a very high quality and I would recommend it. Home made breads and beautifully presented food. The menu is a set price for either 1 2 or 3 courses. Very good value.

Perfect hotel as first time visitors to Brugge. Lovely room, incredibly clean and very spacious. Staff were so lovely and very helpful. I contacted in advance about a request which was actioned very quickly and I found the portal you can log into prior to your stay really useful. A lot of information was provided at check-in about the hotel, local area and transport advice. As we have never stayed in Belgium before we especially appreciated the bus advice and the taxi voucher made it really easy for us to get back as I was worried about trying to get a taxi (we are from the UK). Will definitely be staying again. Had there have been room at the same hotel we would have extended our stay no question!

Friendly and helpful staff sanitised and clean surfaces, lovely bar/restaurant to sit in and relax, good breakfasts. Spacious, clean modern building in a very quiet area with indoor and outdoor carparks. Indoir carpark and bicycle store/hire under one roof in lovely modern build block. Holiday apartments in another modern block on the same complex in a leafy green parkland area over one mile away from the town, and just adjacent to a canal, across the road from a modern industrial park. Whole area quiet and peaceful. Regular (every 20 mins approx) bus service - no. 5 bus - to town. Above all. what makes this place special is the helpfulness and professionalism of all the staff.

The location is not close to the center BUT the Velotel offers taxi vouchers to the center for a fixed price - 12 EUR. It is a convenient option to have and they call the taxi for you. Another wonderful thing that really made our time spent so efficient was the receptionist - Preben T. His recommendations and sense of humor were spot on. Everything he pointed on the Brugge map they give at the hotel just made our day, we did not miss anything important to taste or visit for the day and a half we were staying. We would come revisit again because of the warm welcome and help he gave us. Thank you once again!
